A L Mears was founded in Harrogate in 1976 by the late Alex Mears and they quickly became known for their reliable service and also for the pride they took in their work. Alex’s son, Rory, joined his dad full time after finishing school and now runs the business alongside Gary, the manager, who joined A L Mears after finishing school in 2006. Together they now run the business with the same care and pride as taken by Alex for all those years.
Their work vans are an integral part of Harrogate, adding to that special Harrogate sparkle. Alex successfully grew the business by offering the highest standards, reliability and by taking great care of his employees so he could be sure they would always take great care of you.
As well as window cleaning the business also offers pressure washing, gutter clearing, commercial cleaning and domestic cleaning. By growing the business slowly and steadily we have been able to make sure we are always able to work to the same high standards we are famous for and not allow size to overtake quality.
